I LOVE TO READ!
Thank you for your participation and support of our activities last week!
A BEARY GOOD MONTH
Bears, Fairy/Folk Tales and St. Patrick’s Day will be our themes this month as we continue to learn about 3D shapes, skip counting, combinations of numbers to 30, begin regular home reading, continue our chime ins, and hopefully manage that beach party sometime very soon!
HOME READING
Sent home with your child on Friday was their first Home Reading folder. Inside you should have found:
1) A small class book that your child can exchange each school day for a new one. If you would like to keep it for an extra day, please indicate so by writing a note in the pizza slice on the Reading Log sheet.
2) A Reading Log sheet with pizza slices on it. I will add a new sheet as each one becomes full.
3) An instruction sheet on how to use the books, Reading Log, and folder.
Please keep all sheets in the folder and return the folder to your child’s bookworm bag every day. Happy Reading!
STAR OF THE WEEK
Thank you to S.G. and her Mom for a presentation on helping us listen to our hearbeat, use a fingertip monitor, and how to dress for the operating room last week. My apologies for the parents whose schedule I rearranged for this week and next. This week’s star: S.S. Next week: R.C.
NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 5th
