The Kindergarten students did an exceptional job of working to read and sequence the instructions and the recipe for making homemade ice-cream, which we made with help from a class guest, Carter Butterfield. The recipe was sent home with the Kindergarteners for more delicious reading practice, and was modified for use at school using less sugar, which parents may choose to do at home: you can choose to use trace amounts of sugar so that the actual confection is really a frozen cup of milk with your choice of flavour(s)!
