HAPPY WINTER

The snow and cold have arrived and I thank parents for ensuring the children are prepared by having warm clothing for outdoor learning and play.

We had our first indoor recesses, during which the children played games in the Chapel area because the temperature (with the windchill) was colder than -30 degrees Celcius.

We are learning about measurement and flip symmetry this month, as well as reviewing our knowledge of graphing with a tasty lesson on Skittle Graphing.

The children will be creating life-sized artwork this week, as well as 3-dimensional snowmen.

I am asking that the children bring a one-litre bottle to school next week as part of our Winter and Snowmen units.

We hope you are enjoying winter activities, and look forward to celebrating your child's learning with you in the months to come.
