BOOKWORM BAGS
Thanks so much for reminding your children to return them to school each day. They do occasionally go missing, or your child may set it down on their way out and have it inadvertently picked up by a classmate and they will inevitably be returned the next school day.
If I miss an item for the office that you have sent in a bookworm bag, please be assured that I will accept any and all responsibility for its timely turn in to the office. We may occasionally have student needs at each recess that prevent me from checking bookworm bags as thoroughly as I would like, though I endeavor to do so daily, as I have been very appreciative to see that you have been doing at home.
STUDENT TEACHER
The children who attend Kindergarten 5-days per week have already met Miss Laird, who is a student teacher from the University of Winnipeg who will be teaching and working with individuals and small groups throughout the university year.
We are all privileged to be part of this important growth of a teaching professional.
A FOND FAREWELL
On Wednesday we will be bidding a fond farewell to our classmate, S., who is moving away from Winnipeg. Her Kindergarten classmates have all promised that we will become “pen pals”, by sending holiday letters and pictures as a class. We wish her and her family God’s blessings and a bright future in their new city and school.
